On Saturday, talented 15 year old Sam Dymock, playing in the 2nd XI,  bowled superbly with a 5 wicket haul finishing with 5/19 off his 8 overs. Congratulations Sam on your first 5fer for the club. 👏👏
Sam is affiliated with Joondalup Districts Cricket Club and is gaining valuable experience playing in our senior sides for the club.

🏏 T20 Division 1 XI
What a finish! Murdoch Uni Melville needed just 8 runs from 11 balls with 6 wickets in hand, but our T20 Div 1 XI held their nerve to secure a thrilling 1-run victory.

A brilliant final over from Heshan Perera (3/21) — including two wickets in two balls and a team run-out for a hat-trick — sealed the win. Jerra Smith (2/21) also bowled superbly at the death to apply the pressure.

With the bat, standout performances came from Jerra Smith (56), Jackson Chadd (30) and Matt Hill (24no), helping set up a defendable total.
This crucial win keeps the side well-placed in the race for the T20 Div 1 finals.

🏏 T20 Division 2 XI
Another nail-biter! After posting 4/130 from their 20 overs, our Div 2 XI held firm to bowl out Murdoch Uni Melville for 127 with three balls remaining — claiming victory by 3 runs.

Top bowling efforts from Matt Hill (3/27) and Henri Werndly (2/25) made the difference, backed up by strong batting contributions from Leon Armenti (46no), Matt Hill (35) and Brayden Cosson (31).

🏏 WEEKEND RESULTS - SATURDAY 🏏

** GALIPO LEADS 1ST XI TO IMPORTANT WIN **

** Saturday, 1 November 2025 **
Round 4 – 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI
Round 3 - 5th XI

🏏 1st XI
A brilliant innings from Alex Galipo (97) guided the 1st XI to their second win of the season, falling just short of a well-deserved century. Strong contributions from Jerra Smith (34), Jackson Chadd (32), and Kyle Cosson (24) helped post a competitive total of 6/234 from the allotted overs.
Swan Athletic fought hard but fell 12 runs short. Captain Jerra Smith (4/58) led from the front with the ball, while Adam Copley (2/38) provided valuable support.

🏏 2nd XI
The 2nd XI claimed their third win of the season, defending a modest total of 156 to secure a 19-run victory. Key contributions with the bat came from Pathik Patel (33), Jayden Monastra (31), and Matty Hill (21).
With the ball, Sam Dymock (5/19) was outstanding, well supported by Cory Howes (2/19) and Brayden Cosson (2/49).

🏏 3rd XI
The 3rd XI is still chasing their first win of the season after going down to High Wycombe by 7 wickets. Damian Lepidi (68) top-scored, with Kalpit Pamnani (21) and Ben Allan adding useful runs. Henri Werndly (2/42) was the only multiple wicket-taker.

🏏 4th XI
The 4th XI was unable to defend their total of 8/146, with Subiaco Marist chasing it down to win by 5 wickets. Andy Grant (36) and Aarav Koppula (21) made solid contributions with the bat, while Tyson Tennent (3/18) impressed with the ball.

🏏 5th XI
Applecross proved too strong for the 5th XI, posting a challenging total of 8/204 before restricting the side to 7/141 in reply. Salman Arshad (3/19) and Hassan Khan (2/48) were the pick of the bowlers, with Chris Giles (41) and Asad Naeem (32) leading the way with the bat.

A double header at Jones Paskin today with both T20 Div 1 and 2 in action against Murdoch Uni Melville from 10:30am with Div 1 up first.
