**WASTCA Mental Health Round**

To celebrate Mental Health Week, the West Australian Suburban Turf Cricket Association (WASTCA) has teamed up with Richmond Wellbeing to present the Mental Health Round this weekend for all WASTCA Cricket Clubs.

To help raise awareness about mental health issues all clubs will be making the following commitment before their matches:

“As a club and a cricket community we are committed to improving men's mental health by supporting our mates, asking for help when we need it and being open to talking about our mental wellbeing. I'm committed to change today and for our future cricketers, and the change starts with me.”

WASTCA leads the way in its social responsibility to club members and is giving mental health a sporting chance by offering Bouncing Back, a free mental health awareness program designed by Richmond Wellbeing and the Kalamunda Cricket Club Inc

It’s a smorgasbord of cricket this weekend with all the club’s sides in action.

It’s only Round 2 for the 1st and 2nd XI and they are already facing crucial games. They both DO NOT want to go 0-2 to start the season. The 1st XI are against last years premiers Wembley Districts who also lost their 1st game last week. Last years Grand Final sides set to battle it out again in a One Day game.

The 3rd and 4th XI sides set to open their season up on Saturday along with T20 Div 2 and the Colts on Sunday. T20 Div 1 XI front up again for their Round 2 game on Sunday.

Plenty of action to choose from so get down and support the boys where and when you can.
