Sporting clubs such as ours play a significant role in the community and have a responsibility to our members and their families.
We have chosen to join over 9000 clubs across Australia taking part in the Good Sports program.
Through Good Sports we are committed to managing alcohol responsibly and ensuring smoke free areas, which we believe will help us to provide a healthy, safe and family friendly environment.
Together, we are helping inspire a healthier sporting nation. Speak to our club committee about what being a Good Sports club is all about or visit:www.goodsports.com.au

🏏 WEEKEND RESULTS 🏏
** T20 DIV 1 XI GET THE SEASON STARTED WITH MIXED RESULTS **
** Saturday, 5 October 2024 **
Round 1 & 2 – T20 Div 1 XI
The T20 Div 1 XI got the season started playing a double header for their first 2 round matches at home on Jones Paskin Reserve.
Both games went down to the wire with a loss then a win to start the season off.
In the morning game batting first, we managed a total of 8/124 off 20 overs. Heshan Perera (37) and Jamie Rudrum (30) our main contributors with the bat. The boys were gallant in defeat with North Beach Carine reaching the total with only 1 ball to spare. Marco Krebl with 2/24 the pick of the bowlers.
It was a similar total in the afternoon game vs Whitfords with the boys batting first again and making 123 off 19.3 overs. Captain Jerra Smith this time the anchor with the bat making 50 off 33 balls.
This time they were able to defend their total restricting the opposition to 5/122 off their 20 overs. Jerra Smith (2/21) and Hassan Khadim (2/30) the highlights with the ball.
Next week we have most of the other grades start their campaign.
